This site is an expression of my personal faith and confidence in God, as a result of my membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My faith has led me to act in an effort to sincerely explain the scriptures. In fact, that mission statement, such as it is, also reflects the point of the blog and the sum of my faith.
I believe “faith” itself comprises the exercise of the following four faculties in a person:
My faith is that as I strive to exercise these faculties, I will become more like God, and he will lead me and guide me, and correct me whenever I need it, with an approach suited to me personally. My faith is also that if you will consult those four faculties, you will be led to experience the change described in Alma 32, to have more faith, to have the Spirit of God to be with you more, to “guide you into all truth” (John 16:13), so you can “know the truth of all things” (Moroni 10:5).
